Review de la canción

La canción Hallelujah fue escrita por el cantautor canadiense Leonard Cohen en 1984, siendo publicada en su álbum Various Positions.

La letra de Hallelujah es realmente poética y lo cierto es que su ambigüedad ha dado pie a que se haya interpretado de diferentes maneras. Hay quien ven la canción como una reflexión sobre la espiritualidad y la búsqueda de significado en la vida, mientras que otros interpretan la letra como una meditación sobre el amor y las relaciones.

Quizá no lo sepas, pero inicialmente la canción no tuvo un gran éxito comercial y no empezó a ganarse el reconocimiento que merece hasta que fue versionada por grandes de la música, como la interpretación de Jeff Buckley.

La canción también ha sido utilizada en películas, programas de televisión y otros medios, y se ha convertido en una de las canciones más populares y versionadas de todos los tiempos.

Análisis de Halleluljah

Hallelujah fue escrita en un compás 12/8, es decir, hay doce pulsaciones en cada compás y cada pulso se divide en tres partes iguales. Este compás se utiliza a menudo en baladas y canciones emotivas, ya que ayuda a imprimir ese ritmo suave y fluido que complementa la letra poética.
